Are these templates valid under South African law?
Yes — every template is drafted with reference to current South African legislation, including POPIA, the BCEA, the Labour Relations Act, the Rental Housing Act and the Consumer Protection Act, and each document tells you which laws it engages. They are general templates, though: for unusual or high-value situations, have an attorney adapt the document to your circumstances.
Can I see a document before I buy it?
Yes — every product has a Preview button showing a watermarked view of the first pages, plus a "what's inside" list of its key clauses. The purchased file is the complete, clean, fully editable Word document.
What format do I receive?
Editable Microsoft Word (.docx) files that also open in Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages. Placeholders are marked [in square brackets] so you can find every field with Ctrl+F.
Is this legal advice?

What if I'm not sure which document I need?
Read the "what's inside" list on each product, or email us before you buy and we'll point you to the right template. Each document's description tells you exactly which situations it covers. Any statutory rights you have under the CPA and ECT Act are unaffected by anything on this site.
Can I reuse a template for multiple clients or tenants?
Your purchase is a single-business licence: use it as often as you like within your own business (e.g. every new tenant or client), but you may not resell or redistribute the template itself.
How long do I have access to what I buy?
A single document purchase includes access and free updated versions for 6 months from the date of purchase. Every pack — including All-Access — includes access and free updates for 12 months. The Word file you download is yours to keep and use under your licence; the access period governs re-downloads and updated versions.
How do I know the templates stay up to date?
When legislation changes materially, we update the affected templates. During your access period (6 months for single documents, 12 months for packs) you receive updated versions free — join the mailing list to be notified.
